Application Guide for Water-based Color Paste
Waterborne Color Paste – Application Guide for Architectural Coatings Production
1. Product Overview: Waterborne color paste is a highly concentrated and stable coloring formulation prepared through fine grinding using high-efficiency pigments, dispersion systems, and deionized water as primary components. Specifically designed for waterborne architectural coating systems, it exhibits uniform coloring, excellent weather resistance, strong compatibility, and batch stability.
2. Core Features: High color rendering power and excellent color rendering properties, effectively reducing color matching costs. Superior resistance to color floating, blooming, and delamination, with good compatibility with various emulsions, additives, and fillers. UV-resistant, weather-resistant, and acid/alkali-resistant, suitable for both interior and exterior walls. Low VOC content, environmentally friendly without APEO, compliant with national standards. High color consistency and uniform application coloration.
3. Applications include wall latex paint, exterior latex paint, elastic coatings, stone-like paint, water-in-water, water-in-sand, textured coatings, sealing primers, and putty coloring.
4. Production Construction Steps: Paint Mixing Stage: After base paint preparation, stir at low speed (300–600 rpm) for 5–10 minutes. Add the paint slowly and evenly to avoid one-time pouring. The addition ratio should be 0.5%–8.0% (adjust according to color intensity). Strictly avoid high-speed shearing to prevent foaming, coarse particle rebound, or system demulsification.
5.perating Environment Requirements: Operating temperature: 15°C–35°C. Avoid freezing temperatures and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Maintain a clean production environment free from dust or impurities.
6. Storage and Maintenance: Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Storage temperature: 5°C–35°C. Protect from freezing and sunlight exposure. Re-seal immediately after opening to prevent mold growth and evaporation. Shelf life: 12 months.
7. Precautions: Conduct compatibility tests, application tests, and color retention tests prior to use. Do not mix products from different brands. Avoid ingestion or contact with eyes. Rinse thoroughly with water if contact occurs.
