Technical parameters
TT full-color: dark color, achieved by adding 5% pigment to latex paint containing 1% titanium dioxide.
ST 1/25:1/25 standard depth, DIN53235 standard
Light resistance: DIN54003 standard, rated from level 1 to level 8, with level 8 being the highest.
Density: unit g/ml; based on DIN53193 standard
Pigment content: The pigment content is for reference only, with coloring power as the primary indicator.
Alkali resistance test: Add color slurry to white latex paint (3%) and immerse in a 2% NaOH solution for 24 hours. Color change evaluation is performed using DIN54001 gray card as reference.
Weather resistance: The test results of coating exposed to sunlight for 24 months using an alkyd melamine resin baked paint system (baked at 130°C for 30 minutes) were evaluated by color change comparison using the DIN54001 gray card scale, with grades 1-5 indicating performance levels, where grade 5 represents optimal performance.
Safety: The CP series color pastes do not contain lead chromate or other heavy metals harmful to human health, and no hazardous outcome reports have been reported within the application scope of this product.
TT Full Shade: mass tone, 5% colorant into the 1% titanium emulsion paint
ST 1/25: 1/25 standard deep, DIN53235 standard
Weather fastness: DIN54003 standard, on the scale of 1 to 8
Specific Density: unit g/ml; measured against DIN53193 standard
Pigment Solids: only for reference, color strength is the standard
Alkali Resistance Test: measured against the DIN54001
Weather fastness: measured against DIN54001 on a scale of 1-5, where 5=no change.
Safety: CP colorants have no heavy metals that are harmful to human body, these products have no harmful results reports.
Product Overview
Product Description
t CP In-Plant Colorants is a high-quality, high-coloring-power, and cost-effective color pulp specifically developed to meet current market demands for pharmaceutical applications.
CP series are a economical kind of high quality and high color strength colorants meeting the market needs.
t Suitable for various latex paints, water-based architectural coatings, water-based wood coatings, water-based printing and dyeing, as well as wallpapers.
The colorants are suitable for the coloring of the emulsion paints, architectural paints, water-based wood paints, wallpapers and so on.
t offers excellent cost-effectiveness and product added value.
With high cost-effectiveness and high added-values.
t Preferred pigments with excellent light resistance, weather resistance, and stability.
Carefully selected pigments with excellent light fastness, weatherfastness and stability.
The t is resin-free and utilizes high-performance additives, ensuring excellent compatibility with various water-based latex paint systems.
With no resin, added high-performance addictives, having a excellent compatibility with all kinds
of water-based emulsion paints.
t has no effect on coating properties: gloss, hardness, drying speed, and film-forming performance.
Having no obvious negative effects on the luster, hardness, dying time, and film performance.
User Guide
Application manual
t color pastes must undergo compatibility testing prior to use to prevent various coating defects during application.
The dissolvability test must be held before using to a void the film disadvantages during the process of using.
In t, the total amount of color paste added during color mixing should not exceed 10%, and the total amount added in inorganic color paste formulations should not exceed 15%.
Its recommended that the tint pastes added do not exceed 10% to the base paste, when in inorganic formulation the tint pastes do not exceed 15%.
When formulating t color mixing formulations with two or more pigment types, it is essential to select pigments with comparable performance characteristics. Otherwise, performance variations may lead to noticeable color shifts in wall surfaces.
If there are two or more colorants in one color formulation, choose the ones with similar performances, otherwise the huge of color will change because of aging.
To ensure weather resistance of exterior walls, the application of organic color paste for exterior walls must adhere to specified reference values for dosage.
To ensure the weatherfastness of exterior, the amount of the organic colorants should comply to the reference.
t color paste should be thoroughly shaken before use to prevent inaccurate dosage due to sedimentation or prolonged storage.
The colorants should be sufficiently shaken before using to avoid the added volume beyond control because of sediment or long time storage.
t If a bucket cannot be used up in one go, cover it immediately to prevent surface contamination of the color slurry or reduction of volatile components, which could lead to discrepancies in subsequent color mixing.
If one batch of colorant cannot be used up for one time, lid it to avoid being contaminated or volatizing to affect next tinting.
The normal operating temperature range for t color paste is 10-40°C, with no significant changes in hue or color intensity during its service life.
The normal using temperature of colorants is between 10 to 40℃, and it will have no obvious color change within the shelf life.
t Purple, magenta, and orange pigments are susceptible to alkaline effects. It is recommended that users conduct alkaline resistance tests on actual coating films.
Violet, magenta and orange are vulnerable to be affected by alkalescence, so an alkali resistance test on behalf of users is suggested.
