Overview

DSX AS  1130H-1 is an alkali-swelling thickener widely applicable in water-based latex paint systems. With strong pseudoplasticity, it significantly enhances viscosity at low shear rates. The product exhibits excellent water retention, stable viscosity, superior color matching properties, and high glossiness, making it suitable for coatings ranging from matte to glossy finishes with outstanding cost-performance ratio.

Advantages

It exhibits high thickening efficiency, excellent viscosity stability, and anti-water separation properties. It exhibits excellent water retention properties. When mixed with water or color paste using 1130H-1 latex paint, the viscosity shows minimal reduction.

Application

The dosage of DSX AS 1130H-1 alkali-swelling thickener is typically 0.5-1.0% of the total latex paint volume. Users should adjust the dosage based on application conditions. It is commonly used in combination with associative thickeners to regulate the high and low shear viscosity of coatings, achieving optimal rheological properties.

Storage

Storage is recommended at 10-35°C, avoiding freezing and high temperatures.
